ISRAEL RACE DRIVERS (israelracedrivers.com)
Tab.

Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Our commitment
ISRAEL RACE DRIVERS (israelracedrivers.com) is a site that brings together the race calendar of Israeli racing drivers around the world. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people with disabilities.
The site was made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the W3C's WCAG guidelines. Our target is level AA of WCAG 2.1.
What has been done on the site
- The whole site can be used with the keyboard only, with a clear yellow focus indicator on the active element.
- At the start of every page there is a "Skip to main content" link, which appears on the first press of Tab.
- Every driver card includes a real link to the driver's page, and driver names in the weekend board are links.
- Pop-up windows (contact, sign-in, watching a stream and more) are announced as dialogs. Focus moves into them, stays there until they close, they close with Esc, and focus returns to where it was.
- Form fields have labels, and the email and name fields support autofill.
- Messages such as "signed up successfully", sign-in errors and the number of results after filtering are announced to screen readers.
- Text contrast ratios meet the level AA requirement (4.5:1 for normal text).
- Tables have column headers, and the results chart on the driver page also has a table version.
- Images have alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The rotating updates ticker (LIVE FEED) stops with a button, on mouse hover or on keyboard focus.
- If you've set "reduce motion" in your operating system, the animations on the site stop.
- The site is adapted for phones and can be zoomed up to 200% without content being cut off.
The accessibility menu
In the bottom corner of every page there is a round button with the accessibility symbol. It opens a menu with these options:
- Text size: three levels of enlargement, and back down.
- High contrast: a black background and brighter text.
- Highlight links: an underline and a frame for every link.
- Stop animations and motion.
- Readable font: a simple font with more spacing.
Your choices are saved in your browser and keep working on other pages of the site and on your next visit.
How the site was tested
The site was tested on October 7, 2026 in the Chrome browser. Testing included an automated checking tool (axe), color contrast measurement, full keyboard navigation, display at phone width (320 pixels) and zoom to 200%.
What is not yet fully accessible
- The track map: the dots on the map can't be operated from the keyboard. All the information on the map also appears in the track list next to the map, where you can select tracks and filter by driver.
- Content from other sites: streams (for example YouTube), live timing sites, organizers' results files, Google Calendar, Telegram and Facebook. These sites are not under our control, and their accessibility is the responsibility of whoever runs them.
- Admin tools intended for site administrators only were partially tested.
- English version: the English site is a translation of the Hebrew one, and some content (such as driver bios) may still appear in Hebrew.
Found a problem somewhere else? We'd be happy to hear about it and fix it.
